Round up of Digital Media

 

The digital media foundation course I recently completed has been an amazing journey that has allowed me to explore various aspects of digital media creation. Among the many tasks and projects I completed during the course, three particular activities stood out to me as the most enjoyable and rewarding: using Photoshop to retouch photos, recording a podcast, and creating a logo that I am particularly proud of. 

Photoshop has long been a staple tool in digital media creation, revolutionising the way images are edited and manipulated. During the course, I learned how to use Photoshop to edit photos, create digital artwork, and design graphics for various purposes such as business cards and logos. The experience was both challenging and rewarding, as I saw the endless possibilities that the software offers for showing creativity.

Recording a podcast was another highlight of the course for me. Podcasting has grown exponentially in popularity over the past decade, with more and more people turning to it to share their thoughts, ideas, and stories. I had the opportunity to collaborate with classmates to record the podcast and it was so much fun to discuss our experiences and opinions.

Another project I completed during the course was designing a logo from scratch. A logo is an important part of branding and visual identity, representing a company or individual in a simple yet impactful way. I made my logo the letters of my first and surname and had them in colours that I believe suit my personality the best. The end product I think looked very pretty.

In conclusion, the round-up of my digital media course is that it has been a great experience that has improved my understanding of the power and potential of digital media. Through activities such as using Photoshop, recording a podcast, and creating a logo, I have honed my skills, explored new creative traits, and gained a greater appreciation for the impact of digital media on our lives. As I look to the future, I am excited to continue building on the knowledge and skills I have acquired, and I am eager to see where my journey in digital media will take me next.
